Markers
Many markers contain benzene. Prolonged inhalation of its vapors may cause dizziness, drowsiness, and headaches. Also benzene can provoke liver disease, kidney disease or leukemia.
Crayons
For a child, it is better to buy beeswax-based crayons - they are the safest. Regular crayons often contain asbestos, which can cause lung cancer.
Lunch boxes
They are often made from vinyl eraser, which contains phthalates. These are very harmful and volatile substances that easily penetrate food. They can provoke a number of serious diseases in a child: damage to the liver, kidneys, diabetes, asthma, cancer, and in the future - infertility.Backpacks
Backpacks are often made with vinyl or polyvinyl chloride. And these are the same very harmful phthalates. It is most often found in backpacks with bright shiny stickers. For a child, you should choose a backpack with a maximum content of natural materials, nylon and polyester are also acceptable.
