Competent lighting sets the tone not only for learning, but also for the general mood of the child.
Workplace schoolboy should be located near the window - there the lighting will be maximum. If the windows face south and the light in the room is too bright, transparent tulle will not interfere.
To make the room seem brighter (and really reflect light), the main color for the furniture should be white, not forgetting about a sufficient number of mirrors and mirror surfaces.
One central lamp in a children's room is often not enough due to it - it is better to place spots around the entire perimeter of the ceiling. This will illuminate the entire room evenly.
The table lamp should be located on the left if the child is right-handed (or on the right if left-handed), so there will be no extra shadows. But the lamp should not shine into the eyes of the child, which means it should be located below eye level.
Since the children's room is still intended for a child, and not just for study, it is not worth forget about point light sources in the form of nightlights, glowing toys - they at least create mood.
Separate areas for recreation, games or reading can be highlighted with floor lamps. It is desirable that the brightness of the light in them be regulated depending on whether the child is reading or getting ready for bed.
A separate sconce should be placed at the head of the bed. Children can get scared at any moment - and it's good if a light source is at hand. Such a lamp is also well suited for reading before bedtime.
