Due to the quarantine, Ukrainian graduates may be left without vacation.
The Ministry of Education of Ukraine reports that pupils may return to their desks in May or June, but in this case, the academic year in 2020 will be extended until July 1.
According to the government, all training activities that cannot be canceled will have to be shifted. For example, external testing can take place in June (if the school year does not continue) or in July and even August.
The admission campaign to universities will also have to be shifted, the ministry is sure.Now we are considering many different options, we are ready to hold the UPE in June, July or even August. If the third option is implemented, then the graduates will receive the test results in mid-September, and the introductory campaign will have to be extended until mid-October, approximately.
The ministry is also working to ensure that as many events of the inaugural campaign are also held remotely.
