In Ukraine, for school hooligans plan to introduce monetary fines

Soon the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider a bill on monetary penalties for violating the rules of conduct at school.
Parents will have to pay for the unlawful actions of schoolchildren, however, the new bill will not affect all possible violations of discipline, but only rough treatment educators and the most serious offenses.
To provide additional guarantees that the principles of respect for the individual, respectful attitude towards elders is proposed to introduce amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Education" and the Code of Administrative offenses.
Parliamentarians plan to introduce fines for the following offenses:
- willful humiliation of the honor and dignity of the teacher, expressed in an obscene form, harassment, physical and mental violence, as well as threats to use such violence against the teacher,
- drinking alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages, using drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues within the walls of the school.
If the student's guilt is proven, the parents will have to pay a fine from UAH 2,500 to 5,100.
