We will be celebrating Easter very soon, and eggs are the main dish on the festive table. How to choose them correctly?

Marking

Each egg is labeled. The first symbol - the letter "D" means that the egg is dietary (it must be sold within 7 days, and "C" - stands for a table egg and its sale period is 25 days.

You should know that eggs are not stored for more than 6 weeks!

Have you noticed that sometimes eggs are dirty? So, this is a violation. The product has not been sanitized and there is a risk of contracting salmonellosis.

Freshness of eggs

At your request, eggs should be checked with an ovoscope. If there is none, weigh the egg in your hand and look at the shell - if it is matte and weighty, then it is fresh, and light and glossy is spoiled.

And when you come home, put a raw egg in a container with cool water, and if it sinks and falls to the bottom of the container, then the product is really fresh.

Eggs must be stored correctly - the optimum storage temperature is between 7 ° and 13 ° C.
