Making a medical mask at home: instructions

Today we will tell you how not to fall into panic and make a mask at home.

You will need:

• gauze (you can bandage);
• needle with thread;
• scissors;
• cotton wool (if desired)

Step-by-step instruction:

1. Wrap a piece of gauze so that 3 layers are formed. Tuck the top and bottom edges neatly and mark.
2. Cut the cheesecloth around the edges to make 2 pairs of ties. If you use a bandage, then you will need a piece of 7m x 14 cm.
3. Make a cotton pad 14 x 14 cm. Cut a 60 cm bandage and wrap 4 layers of cotton wool in it.
4. Use the remaining bandage for the ties.
5. You need to take 80 cm of fabric, cut it in half lengthwise and fold each piece with a tube.
6. Then thread the ties at the bottom and top of the dressing and sew them together.

• It is important to remember that the gauze mask is disposable.
