How not to get sick with the whole family before the holidays

According to the law of meanness, a disease can pick up just on the eve of a holiday - and spoil it for the whole family.

Before the New Year and Christmas, you have to spend a lot of time and energy to complete all the necessary work, household and personal affairs, to stock up on gifts, decorate the house, collect children for matinees, come up with a festive menu and make purchases. As a result, the risk of catching some kind of infection on a weakened body or provoking an exacerbation of chronic diseases increases.

How to protect the health of the whole family during this period?

1. Allow yourself not to be in time for everything that is planned

The New Year will come, even if some corner that has not been completely tidied up remains in the apartment, and on your conscience there is an unfinished business. But the desire to be in time for everything and at once is exhausting and spoils the mood, because sleep and rest suffer first of all. Accordingly, immunity decreases.

Always keep in mind that health comes first. Otherwise, there will be much more worries. Therefore, it is important to correctly prioritize.

2. Avoid crowds

Of course, it's nice to shop before the holidays or attending events, but now is not the best time for that. It is better to transfer all purchases online (moreover, walking around the store wearing a mask is quite difficult). Leisure is also preferable to organize at home and outdoors, away from people.

3. Be active

Don't forget about sports and the benefits of fresh air. This is the best leisure activity you can do outside the home. Alas, it is better to postpone the trip to the ice rink.

4. Remember to eat right

In your diet, focus on the vegetables available in winter: carrots, beets, pumpkin. This will help you not only maintain health and immunity, but also lose some weight before the holidays, cleanse the body, and maintain a feeling of lightness.

5. Do not start the emerging diseases

If you or one of your family members have symptoms of SARS, you should stay at home as much as possible, be at rest, drink plenty of fluids and ventilate the room, and be in contact with a family a doctor.

If you have a toothache, stomach ache, back ache, a rash or any incomprehensible symptoms, you cannot postpone a visit to the doctor until later. It will be difficult to get medical help during the holidays if you need it urgently.
