The infectious disease specialist told how the coronavirus will behave in the fall of 2020.
Vitaliy Yanchenko, an infectious disease specialist of the highest category, Candidate of Medical Sciences, said that a peak incidence is expected in Ukraine coronavirus in September.
Now we are entering the peak of the incidence, it's good that this is happening slowly. I think that we will get high numbers in the first three weeks of September. Children will go to school, they get sick easily, but they spread coronavirus, which is dangerous for adults.
Yanchenko noted that in Ukraine, young people and middle-aged people get sick more, but because of strong immunity they carry the virus without complications.
I recently ran into a group of people who have all contracted the coronavirus. One had a temperature of 39, the other four got sick easier, their temperature did not rise above 38.5.Note that epidemiologists in Europe are also predicting a second wave of the pandemic in the fall.
