According to scientists, the severity of COVID-19 disease depends on the concentration of vitamin D in the body.

We know that vitamin D is able to increase human antiviral immunity, and ultraviolet rays destroy the coronavirus in just ten minutes. Does this mean that we all need to go to the beach and start actively sunbathing for prevention?

According to the head of the Department of Children's Infectious Diseases of the National Medical Academy of Ukraine Alla Volokha, with a tan one should be careful, exposure to the sun is useful only when ultraviolet light affects a person dosed every day.

Relaxing in the sun should be in moderation, yes, vitamin D is good. But if we sunbathe constantly, we will get the opposite effect, overheating, burning, you will only prevent the immune system from working.
In addition, the doctor noted that the resorts available to Ukrainians are dangerous in terms of infectious diseases, however, they help psychologically relax and forget about quarantine, which for many has become large stress.
