Scientists have named the real incubation period of the coronavirus, conducting a corresponding study.
The results were shared by the School of Public Health on Monday 23 March.
Scientists analyzed clinical manifestations of coronavirus in several thousand patients to determine the average incubation period.
According to the results of the study, it turned out that most often COVID-19 makes itself felt 5.1 days after entering the human body. However, for many, it manifests itself 7, 8 and even 11 days after infection with coronavirus.
In general, we can say that 99.7% of people develop coronavirus within 11.5 days after infection, but there are still 2.5% of people who show signs of infection after 14 days.The results showed that the previously appointed quarantine of 14 days for all citizens at risk, as well as contact citizens, is appropriate.
