If objects seem familiar and harmless, this does not mean that they are not dangerous.

To keep the house safe for health children, adults and animals, check for these potentially hazardous items that do not appear so at first glance.

1. Air fresheners

2. Humidifiers

By themselves, they are very useful, especially in the cold season, when the air in the room dries up due to heating. But the humidifier requires careful maintenance, because mold quickly forms due to moisture. As a result, it spreads through the house along with water vapor. It is not recommended to use a humidifier for more than a few hours a day.

3. Dressers

The chest of drawers, with light movements of the child's hands, turns into a ladder, which is so convenient to climb. But if it is not attached to the wall, it can just as easily fall and crush the child. In addition to fastening, it is worth making sure that the upper drawers are not overloaded, and heavy objects such as a TV cannot be placed on the chest of drawers.

They are dangerous with their cords. Dozens of children die every year from strangulation with blinds cords. Therefore, it is worth either abandoning the blinds altogether, or carefully removing the cords so that the children do not get them.
