Mandarins are associated with the new year - but they can be used deliciously and simply at any time of the year.

Tangerine salad

You will need: 2 tangerines, 200 g arugula, 100 g salami, 10 pitted olives, 1 tomato, 1/2 bell pepper, 2 tbsp. l. wine vinegar, vegetable oil.

How to cook: peel the tangerines and divide into slices, wash the arugula and torn the pieces. Cut the salami into thin slices and cut in half, add to the tangerines and arugula. Cut the tomato slices and pepper strips there. Season the salad with oil and vinegar.

Cupcake with tangerines and raisins

You will need: 200 g flour, 150 g butter, 3 eggs, 1 tsp. baking powder, 4 tangerines, 1 handful of raisins, 1.5 tbsp. powdered sugar.

How to cook: Soak raisins in hot water. Peel the tangerines and let them dry.

Combine flour with baking powder, soft butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add flour to the mixture, knead the adze. Squeeze out the excess liquid from the raisins, dip them in flour and add to the dough.

Grease a baking dish with butter, lay out the dough, and on top - tangerine slices. Bake for 60 minutes at 180 degrees. Sprinkle icing sugar on the cake before serving.

Beef with tangerine sauce

You will need: 700 g fillet of beef, 1 tangerine, 5 stalks of green onions, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp. sesame oil 2 tsp brown sugar, 2 tablespoons grated ginger, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 pinch of red pepper, tangerine jam.

How to cook: squeeze juice from a tangerine, add grated zest, finely chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, ginger, other spices and a quarter glass of water to it.

Cover the meat with marinade and refrigerate for 12 hours. Pierce it with a fork, put it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 40 minutes. After cooling, cut into strips. Boil the marinade from the meat, cook over medium heat until thickened. Add jam to it and stir. Serve the resulting sauce with the beef.
