Dr. Komarovsky urged parents to treat their children less intensively.

Ukrainian pediatrician Evgeny Komarovsky explained that sometimes a runny nose and acute respiratory viral infections remain for several weeks, and do not go away immediately after recovery and improvement in general condition.

According to the doctor, it is really impossible to cure a runny nose with the help of drugs (as the famous saying about a week and seven days says).

The fact is that a runny nose passes only after the body produces antiviral antibodies, it takes 4-5 days.

In medicine, recovery is the period when a child returns to the team, he is no longer infected and can live a full life. But the residual effects of ARVI in the form of coughing and runny nose can remain for a long time.
Recovery depends on the condition of the nasal mucosa! A large amount of unnecessary drugs, dry air, cold and other negative aspects can prolong the duration of the disease.
The main task of parents is to treat children as little as possible. You must understand that both doctors and parents mostly give medicine to children because they are mentally sure that something needs to be done. At the same time, watering, moisturizing, ventilating, not shoving food is not considered a treatment. To treat our way is to run to the pharmacy for medicines. But in order not to shove unnecessary medicines into a child, you need to be smart, responsible and learn.
