But is it possible to lose weight just by walking?

1. Alas, 80% of weight loss depends on nutrition, and only 20% on training. This does not mean that you need to eat two lettuce leaves a day and lie on the couch half-fainting with hunger, waiting for the cherished numbers on the scales.

2. Physical activity is essential anyway. If you do not have the strength, time or desire to go to the gym or engage in some apparently specific physical activity, then at least go. You definitely won't be able to get fat from this.

3. If you have unhealthy foods in your diet, but you actively walk at least 15 thousand steps a day, then this is already a step towards at least not gaining even more weight.

4. If your diet is 80-90% healthy, portions are moderate, and the calorie content does not exceed normal, then walking alone can really be enough for weight loss, without other exercises. But you have to walk a lot - at least 15 thousand steps a day.

5. Where to walk: On the street or on a treadmill. It's definitely more beneficial to be outdoors. In addition, more effort is made during normal walking than on a treadmill.
