Cooking Garfield lasagna: a simple recipe step by step

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp oregano
  • 500 gr. champignons
  • 1 onion

Cooking method:

  1. Boil the lasagna sheets in plenty of boiling water.
  2. Once the paste is ready, remove it from the heat, drain off the water, and place the sheets on a damp cloth.
  3. For the filling, combine ricotta, grated Parmesan, egg, and basil in a large bowl.
  4. Then season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  5. For the sauce, fry the onions and mushrooms until golden brown.
  6. Twist the fried mushrooms in a blender.
  7. Add tomato paste, olive oil and oregano to the mixture.

  10. Grease a baking dish with oil.
  11. Lay the lasagna dough in an even layer in a mold.
  12. Cover each of the layers with filling and fill with sauce.
  13. Grease the topmost layer of dough with sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  14. Preheat oven to 190 degrees.
  15. Bake the dish for 20 minutes.

Life hack

To sauté the onions until golden brown, do not heat the pan to maximum heat. It is better to hold onions and mushrooms longer.
