Summer strudel with strawberries: recipe step by step
Summer strawberry strudel is a great option for a light meal that can be prepared at home in half an hour.
Summer strawberry strudel will help you not only enjoy delicious dessert, but also save the figure. After all, the calorie content of a berry does not exceed 50 calories per 100 grams. And the lavash itself is much more dietetic than puff pastry - the usual basis of any strudel.
Ingredients:
- Strawberries - 150 grams
- Lavash - 1 sheet
- Sour cream - 3 tbsp.
- Sugar - 6 tablespoons
- Powdered sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Starch - 0.5 tsp
- Strawberry juice - 200 ml
Cooking method:
Spread 1 sheet of pita bread.
Lubricate it with sour cream.
Sprinkle the pita bread well with sugar.
- Place the strawberries in half of the pita bread.
- Sprinkle the berries generously with powdered sugar.
- Roll the pita bread into a tight roll.
- Leave the edges of the pita bread folded so that steam can escape.
- Lubricate the strudel with sour cream on top and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake the strudel until the pita bread is crispy. It usually takes 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
- Heat the strawberry juice to a boil and add sugar.
- Dissolve the starch in 2 tablespoons. water and pour the juice into it.
- Bring to thicken.
- Remove and cool the sauce.
Tip: You can eat summer strawberry strudel hot and cold, or chill it overnight in the refrigerator.
