The World Association of Newborn Photographers shared their collection of photographs showing the support of women by future fathers, as well as the moment the father and child meet.

This dad went through every fight as well as his wife. Sometimes looking at him, it seemed to me that he was also in great pain!

This mother was determined to give birth without the help of medication. When I asked if she had a doula (a female nurse), she said that she didn’t need her because her husband would replace anyone. With each new contraction, he reminded her to relax and helped her slow her breathing. I was moved by this sight.

After the traumatic first birth, this time was filled with love and peace of both partners. I loved watching them pull together, the way they held hands as she sat on the birthing ball.

Fatherhood begins long before a child arrives. Endless love and unconditional support during childbirth is just one of its many expressions.

This father showed incredible support during the long birthing process. He held his wife's hand between contractions and massage. When she doubted she could get through it all, he reminded him how strong she was.

This father was there all the time. He relived each fight with concentration with his wife. I have never seen such an attentive birth partner.

This couple had an unplanned cesarean section. The greatest contribution of the future father to the process of childbirth was his calmness and confidence against the background of general chaos !.

This dad was not in a positive mood, he wanted to pick up the child and was very nervous. But after talking with the nurses and the doctor, he gained confidence that everything would work out - and it worked! He just grabbed the baby and laid it on the mother's chest!
