How to remove plaque from a teapot: the main effective ways

You can also boil a baking soda solution in an electric kettle and leave it to infuse for a couple of hours.

Vinegar

Vinegar works well for plastic, glass, metal teapots. Especially if there is already a lot of plaque in it. Next, you need to take 500 ml of water and one glass of 9% vinegar. Pour water into a kettle and boil. Then pour the vinegar in there. Let the solution sit for about an hour. Check the boil periodically. Open the teapot lid and watch the water. If the plaque hasn't gone away by itself, you need to separate it from the walls with a sponge and wash the kettle.
