Each year the date of Trinity changes according to the date Easter.
This year it will be celebrated on June 7, Sunday, exactly 50 days after Great Sunday, April 19.
Traditionally, the holiday is dedicated to the Holy Trinity, God, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The people call the Trinity Pentecost and Green Feasts.
It is noteworthy that among Catholics Pentecost and Trinity are celebrated separately, however, this year both Catholics and Orthodox will celebrate Trinity on the same day, this is a rarity.On Pentecost, it is customary to decorate houses with tree branches, herbs, symbols of rebirth. Believers attend church services and then spend time with loved ones. Traditionally, before the Green Holidays, the hostesses clean up, bake bread, loaf and other treats for their dear guests.
Holiday celebrations are also allowed on this day, however, remember that all this will be safe only after the end of the coronavirus pandemic!
