What to cook for a schoolboy for dinner: broccoli salad with bacon and mango

Do you want to please not only yourself, but also your child? Then make a broccoli salad with bacon and mango.

It's time to cook something unusual.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g bacon
  • 500 g broccoli
  • 1 bell pepper,
  • 1 mango,
  • 1 bunch of green onions
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of apple cider vinegar,
  • 1 hour a spoonful of mustard
  • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar
  • ground black pepper to taste,
  • salt to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Divide the broccoli into inflorescences and boil in salted water for 3-5 minutes. Then cool in cold water.
  2. Chop the bacon thinly and fry over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Use paper towels to remove any excess fat.
  4. Prepare the salad dressing. Add mustard, vinegar, sugar, salt and black pepper to the fat left after the bacon.
  5. Stir, bring the sauce to a boil, add vegetable oil and, stirring constantly, keep on fire for 3 minutes.

  7. Chop green onions finely, add to hot sauce and remove from heat.
  8. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
  9. Cut the mango into small cubes.
  10. Combine all ingredients, stir and season with sauce.
