Easter 2020 in quarantine: how will we celebrate?

Restrictions designed to prevent the spread of dangerous coronaviruswill also touch upon the celebration of Easter.

According to the presidential office, the government is already working on the Easter at Home project, which will allow us to celebrate the great Christian celebration without any threat to health.

Easter this year falls on April 19, at which time Ukraine will still be in quarantine.

The President and the Government are negotiating the services by videoconference. In other words, believers will be able to participate in such events from their apartments and houses.

Of course, for some rituals, for example, the blessing of food, the personal presence of the believer is necessary. In such cases, it will be possible to get into the church, but the number of Ukrainians will be limited by the police.
