5 things pregnant women don't do in vain

It is generally accepted that pregnant women love to "nest" while waiting for a baby. We suggest doing something more useful instead of repairing and rearranging furniture.

Pregnancy awakens in many women the desire to prove something to someone, to become "mother heroine"already at this stage. They say, "I am pregnant, not sick, I do not need help, I can do everything myself, I will work until the start of labor and in general it will be enough to take care of me, I left to make repairs."

But there are a few things to really do during pregnancy, and many people ignore them.

1. Relaxation

If you think that you are not tired, it only seems to you. The body of a pregnant woman really needs more rest and longer sleep. Perhaps a little nap of the day will have a better effect on your well-being than any vitamins.

In addition, the end of pregnancy and childbirth is only the beginning of a long journey, on which there really will be no time for rest. Therefore, it is better to save strength.

2. Taking care of yourself

Often pregnant women forget to indulge themselves with something pleasant. For example, they do not eat sweets, because they are afraid of diabetes and excess weight, they do not buy new things, because they are not sure of the size that will be after childbirth.

Perhaps a new dress is really not worth buying yet, but comfortable and beautiful clothes for nursing are about time.

And a small portion of sweet will not be your fatal mistake (and even sushi is not as dangerous for pregnant women as some think).

3. Ignoring the opinions of others

There will always be someone more experienced in parenting by your side. You will be advised what to buy for your baby and what not, when to buy, what to eat and drink, what a lifestyle to lead, where and how to give birth, and even more so will give their expert assessment of the name that you have chosen for child.

All this makes already sensitive and doubting pregnant women feel especially confused and helpless. How to deal with this?

Ignore other people's opinions, do as your heart and gynecologist tell you. It is not necessary to come into conflict with "advisers", just do not take their words closely, but do as you see fit.

4. Order in documents

If you need to change your passport, place of registration, or even re-register / issue / restore some documents, now is the time. When the baby is born, you will not be up to it for a long time. By the way, it is also better to choose a pediatrician and a clinic for a child in advance.

5. First aid courses

It is better to learn once in practice than to read about it 100 times in theory. Absolutely all people need first aid skills, but especially young parents. And while you are pregnant, it's time to gain knowledge that may one day save someone's life.
