Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reported the breakup, without revealing the reasons for this decision.
The Hollywood public is used to scandals between ex-spouses, which sometimes even went to court, but Ben and Jennifer decided to remain friends for the sake of their children.
As it turned out, Ben and Jennifer's friendship was not exclusively public, the ex-wife continued to support the father of her children even after the divorce.
Affleck himself spoke about this in an interview with The New York Times.
Many people think that we got divorced because of my alcoholism. I would confess if that was the case. But no, I started drinking just after the discord began in the family and it became clear that we would divorce.According to Affleck, what he regrets most in his life is the breakup, his mistakes and the inability to replay those events.
I did what I regret now. But I have no choice but to pull myself together and take into account the lessons.
Note that Ben and Jennifer decided to leave after 10 years of marriage, in 2015.
