Why cut a child bald in a year? The answer is simple - there is no need.
Two or three decades ago, we did not think about whether we needed to cut a child's hair a year, but simply cut a hair. Moreover, boys and girls were shaved equally.
Today hairdressers claim that a haircut a child a year old does not make any sense, and can be harmful. In the first months of life, generic hairs fall out, and thicker and more mature hair begins to grow, which can differ in color and texture.
Why you shouldn't cut babies at one year old:

Hair begin to grow inside the skin in the hair follicles, and what you do with them from the outside does not in any way affect their development inside the follicle.
- deceptive effect
Sometimes it seems to parents that after a haircut, the child's hair becomes thicker - in fact, the effect is created by uniform hair growth.

No matter how neatly you cut your hair, if you accidentally pulled the scissors, several weak children's follicles are damaged.
- the discomfort
After shaving your head, the stubble can cause irritation. In addition, without hair, the baby may simply be cold.
- risk of infection
Small scratches or pimples can cause inflammation due to pathogenic microorganisms entering them.

- infant crusts are difficult to remove;
- long bangs fall over the eyes;
- very hot;
- the boy has too long hair and looks like a girl.
How to cut your baby correctly?
- cut, not shave (even a good machine can damage hair follicles, as it tends to sometimes cling to hair);
- after bathing (it is better to cut slightly damp hair);
- time of day (it is best to cut when the baby is most calm. Do not cut when the child is not in the mood or is sick);
- setting (make sure the child is comfortable, prepare toys or healthy treats in advance);
- after a haircut (after the procedure, bathe your baby in a warm bath. Examine the baby so that no bristles remain on the baby's body);
- disinfection (do not forget to treat the machine with a disinfectant).
