Have you wondered for a long time how to make a delicious ratatouille? It will not be difficult for you at all.

Today we will share recipe a classic ratatouille that anyone can make.

Ingredients:

  • zucchini - 2 pcs.;
  • eggplant - 2 pcs.;
  • tomatoes - 5 pcs.;
  • hot red pepper - 1/2 pc.;
  • garlic - 1 clove;
  • parsley - a small bunch;
  • spices to taste.
  • olive oil - 6 tablespoons l;
  • tomatoes for tomato sauce - 3 pcs.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.;
  • salt, sugar - to taste.
Cooking method:
  1. To prepare ratatouille, first you need to prepare vegetables: cut the eggplants, zucchini and tomatoes into thin slices, add salt and leave for 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the tomato sauce for ratatouille: finely chop the onion and place in a frying pan preheated with oil. While the onion is browning, cut the bell pepper into cubes and add to the pan. Tomatoes are preferably chopped in a blender, but can be diced like peppers.

  4. Add tomatoes to vegetables, salt to taste and simmer over low heat for 10 - 15 minutes. You can also add herbs like parsley or basil.
  5. When the tomato sauce is ready, half should be placed in a baking dish where the ratatouille will be cooked and the remainder will be needed when serving.
  6. Next, on the tomato sauce, alternating, lay out the vegetables cut into rings - 1 slice of eggplant, 1 zucchini, 1 tomato, etc.
  7. After the form is completely filled with vegetables, chop finely hot red pepper, parsley, garlic and stir. Then we spread the result on the future ratatouille and sprinkle with olive oil.
  8. Cover the form with a lid or parchment paper and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 1 hour.
  9. Let the ratata brew for 15 minutes. Serve the finished ratatouille with tomato sauce and a sprig of parsley or basil.
