How to properly dry your hair to keep it healthy

The health and appearance of your hair depends not only on the care products, but also on how you dry it after washing.

Many believe that blow dry hair - is harmful to their health, and therefore they leave them to dry after washing themselves. But trichologists have a different opinion on this matter.

Drying your hair properly with a hairdryer - on the contrary, helps to keep your hair beautiful and healthy, because it closes the hair cuticle. When the hair dries on its own, the cuticle is not closed, the hair is not voluminous, less shiny.

The cuticle opens when you wash your hair with water and shampoo to flush out dust, dirt and styling residues. And the use of balms and masks increases the likelihood that it will not close on its own.

To close the cuticle and not injure the hair, you need to follow 3 rules:

1. After shampooing, wrap your hair with a towel for 10-15 minutes.

2. You cannot rub your hair with a towel, it destroys the cuticle.

3. Dry with a hair dryer on medium temperature, from top to bottom, smoothing the hair with a comb.

The closed cuticle will protect your hair from external influences and give it a well-groomed look.
