While they sat for more than a month on self-isolation and could not go to the colorist for staining, the women painted over the gray hair on their own, as best they could. Someone was successful, but someone still had gray roots clearly visible.
In some countries, they still sit on self-isolation, and suffer without beauty salons. An excellent solution to how to quickly and efficiently disguise gray hair was shown by Eva Longoria. Many know her as Gabrielle Solis from the cult TV series Desperate Housewives.
On the air, Eve just took a balloon and quickly painted over her gray hair. In 10 seconds!
What did you use? An instant tinting spray for gray hair.
And since Eva is the ambassador (i.e. representative) of L'Oreal, it is not surprising that she had a spray of this brand in her hands: L'Oréal Paris Magic Root Cover Up.
Not represented in Russia yet, only in the USA. We also sell tinting sprays, but what I liked about Eva is that the consumption is small and paints over really quickly. No paint remains on the scalp.
The fact that Eva showed the tinting spray in her work on the air is, for me, perhaps the most honest and convincing advertisement for such a tool :-)

The spray does not contain ammonia and peroxide. For important meetings, where they will take pictures, it is a very good thing. The pigment is washed off after the first shampoo.
From myself I will say that in our country many toning dry shampoos and sprays are sold. About shampoos I will say the following - not economical. Even if you have about 30% gray hair on your head, then about half of this shampoo will go away after the first use.
