The way bloggers do makeup, many people think their techniques are relevant in life. Someone then begins to argue with other bloggers that, for example, concealer is applied only in a triangle and nothing else.
Let's analyze an important nuance on the shore: beauty blogger makeup is rarely suitable for everyday life. Many of them do makeup to make it look good on camera or in photos. They know their angles, how to show makeup so that it doesn't look too noticeable, and how to show it so that nuances are not visible, for example, during correction.
Reception number 1. Highlighting the area under the eyes with concealer
Take insta makeup, where bloggers like to apply concealer in a triangle under the eyes, and even in a thick layer.

What happens if you apply concealer in a thick layer under the eyes
Nothing criminal will happen. It will hide color nuances and whiten the area under the eyes, but this, of course, with the right color of the concealer (if wrong, you just have, for example, a red triangle).
This will look beautiful in the photo and video, if this is not a macro shot. But in life this does not look so presentable, because the area around the eyes is the most active on our face, because of this, the concealer applied in a dense layer will roll into wrinkles and emphasize imperfections, which will be very noticeable.
Another important point: the thicker the makeup layer, the shorter the makeup lifespan. In other words, while you reach, for example, to work, it is possible that the appearance in this area will differ from the original, from the moment you apply makeup.

If you want to use this method, use your own foundation instead of concealer, apply it in a thin layer with a flat brush.

Wow, this is my favorite because I tried to shrink my nose more than once until I realized it was useless. In the end, I just fell in love with him for who he is :-)

Reception number 4. Strong lipstick or pencil protruding beyond the lip contour
Just stop doing that! This is very (I would say - VERY) noticeable from any angle. Yes, even in the photo, this is noticeable and very ugly. The maximum you can go beyond the contour and it will be more or less "wearable" - 1 mm.
It is worth mentioning that make-up artists can resort to such correction methods described above. Because they know who can fit, and who will be very noticeable. They know the medium they are working with and the techniques for making everything less visible. But their experience and technique is almost impossible to adapt for "make-up for yourself".
