Hello dear readers!
Non-food shops have opened in my city from today. They were allowed to move around the city, but always wearing masks.
Those who wear glasses know about one small unpleasant nuance: if you put on a mask, work in it or go somewhere, the lenses fog up. Or when you enter a warm room in winter, the lenses on your glasses become dull, and from the outside you look blind :-)
My friend, a manicurist, also wears glasses. And he works in a protective mask so as not to breathe dust from the old sawn-off coating. But the problem of lens fogging has not been encountered for a long time.
She shared with me one little secret, which I am now sharing with you.
We take any bar soap. Cut off some shavings from it for each lens.
We put soap shavings on the inside of the lenses, which fogs up with us. Gently rub the chips onto the lens surface with your finger. Try to walk the entire area.
Next, remove the leftovers with a paper napkin. And in the end, we remove the villi and wipe it with a special glasses napkin, which, I think, everyone who wears glasses has. Don't worry, the washcloth won't get dirty in the soap.
And that's all. You can put on a mask, go outside and you will no longer be bothered by foggy lenses.
I am skeptical about such life hacks, but this one really works!
When I began to study the topic in detail, I learned that thanks to soap and other surfactants, condensation does not accumulate on the surface of the lenses, which is formed due to the vapors of the air we exhale. This is due to the "surfactant effect": it reduces the surface tension of water (if a droplet of water collides with another droplet, they quickly combine and form a large droplet; this suggests that the water has a high surface tension; I beg your pardon physicists, I tried to explain in a simpler way) and evenly distributes the water vapor of the exhaled air over the lens surface. This layer of water vapor is so small that it appears transparent to us.
In general, I will not be clever. Know the main thing - the council is working. Verified personally. And it is not necessary to cut the mask for ventilation, as others advise, it is not at all safe.
I hope this little advice is useful to someone!
