Hello dear readers :-)
Many people are familiar with the following situation: we try to grow our hair by all means, but it still does not grow. The vaunted pepper masks do not help, we drink vitamins on the recommendation of a friend, there is no sense either.
In the last article I talked about the natural phases of the hair growth cycle. Now let's talk about why it can slow down natural (very important note!) Hair Growth. Believe me, there are a lot of them. And thoughtless donation of blood for vitamin D and iron, as advised here in the comments, will not reveal the full picture of why hair does not grow.
First, let's touch on vitamins for hair growth.
Let's figure it out right on the shore: why thoughtless intake of vitamins is basically a waste of time and money
Often, when they want to grow their hair or are faced with the problem of hair loss, girls run to the pharmacy and take a complex of vitamins for their hair.
They take the course strictly according to the instructions, but there are no particular improvements. And if there is, then this is a rarity than a regularity. Or someone just lucky, let's not ignore the fact that the placebo effect could have worked.
Why is a vitamin complex often useless?
Yes, everything is simple: several vitamins (often B vitamins, zinc, etc.) were poured into this small vitamin and the concentration is so low that you need to drink a decent amount for the effect. To do this, of course, is unnecessary, simply because you bought this complex of vitamins without taking tests and do not know exactly which vitamin you have in your body in abundance, and which one should be replenished.
Prescribing vitamins to yourself is not the best solution. Any vitamins after testing you should be prescribed by an endocrinologist: he has the test results in his hands, he dances from them. And recommendations from ordinary people will be useful to you only in terms of where to buy and which brands of multivitamins are cheaper.
If you have problems with the gastrointestinal tract, then vitamins simply will not be absorbed.
So we smoothly approached one of the serious problems, because of which the hair begins to grow more slowly and which everyone forgets about - gastrointestinal diseases.
Problems with hair, scalp (and skin in general) directly depend on the gastrointestinal tract. You can drink a bunch of hair vitamins, but if the problem is in the intestines, then all these manipulations will be done in vain.
And all because in case of intestinal diseases, the absorption of vitamins decreases, due to which the hair follicles do not receive trace elements in the required quantities.
The body itself is a pragmatic machine, and even with a healthy intestine it will not be "supply" all the necessary vitamins to the hair follicles, there are more important organs that need them. Therefore, injections of vitamin complexes (for example, mesotherapy) is more effective for skin and hair than a simple intake of vitamins, because delivery of vitamins is carried out directly to the skin.
Our body is capable of producing B vitamins by itself, namely B1, B2, B6 and B12. They are produced in the intestines. Yes, these are the vitamins that our hair needs so much.
With intestinal dysbiosis, B vitamins are produced less and less, and when taking vitamins, they are simply not absorbed. To be more precise, they do not have time to be absorbed, because the pathogenic microorganisms that colonize it in case of disturbances in the functioning of the intestine simply consume the vitamins that have been received.
Today we discussed with you one of the important, insidious and invisible reasons why hair can suddenly stop growing (and even worse - fall out). Tomorrow we'll talk about how poor or inappropriate hair care can cause hair to stop growing. If interested - put your "thumbs up".

Have a nice day, everyone!
