Modern makeup trends like music genres or food are criticized by the older generation. There are, of course, exceptions, which is good news.
But on the other hand, I personally support in many moments the ladies of the age: not all newfangled cosmetics emphasize the beauty of young models who have perfectly clear skin, wrinkle-free and able to withstand any experiments " chemistry ".
Today I would like to talk about those trends in modern make-up that older women criticize, and perhaps for the cause.
1. Wet radiant skin effect
Moisturizing serums are good in winter and summer - the skin looks healthy, peeling does not bother.
But when a moisturizing serum is used as a base for makeup, and even on top of it, a tone with a moist finish, and as a final touch, a highlighter is applied to the protruding areas of the face - it turns out to be too moist leather.
It is fashionable, it seems like you are relaxing on the sea in a stuffy weather. But ladies in adulthood see in all this too much and even negligence, as if the model was carelessly eating fatty whites or fried chicken.
2. Thick and wide eyebrows
The fashion for wide natural eyebrows was set by Cara Delevingne. Many of her "Brezhnev" eyebrows are considered terrible, although the model itself is very beautiful! Thanks to Kara, the girls stopped plucking their eyebrows to the strings and took care of growing them.
However, wide eyebrows may not work for everyone. If a girl has sharp facial features with pronounced cheekbones, then wide and thick eyebrows add masculine features. Whether you are satisfied with this or not is up to you, it's a matter of taste.
Natural density can not be achieved for a banal reason - genetics. The number of active hair follicles is programmed at the genetic level. If the eyebrows from childhood do not differ in thickness, then this cannot be achieved by any growth activators.
But with the width and direction of the hairs, you need to be careful. See the photo below:
On the left - due to the clear outline, pronounced corners and the unnatural upward direction of the hairs, the gaze takes on rough features. In the photo on the right, this is not, the shape of the eyebrows is natural and looks beautiful due to the lack of a pronounced outline.
3. Makeup with a bold color accent
Young people have bright eye makeup in fashion, constant experiments with color combinations (even cold ones with warm shades). It does not always look beautiful and original, but it is bold.
Unfortunately, women aged such bold experiments are not something that they do not welcome, but even condemn. Although, in theory, with age, people should not give a damn what he looks like to others and you can do whatever you want. That is, older people should not be afraid of such bold experiments. And then everyone goes with dark shadows and red lipstick.
