Bathroom
Oddly enough, one of the leading places is the bathroom shelf. A friend of mine has a cherished bottle of her permanent Si by Giorgio Armani. She is my perfume conservative, this is her main fragrance for more than one year. To my question, why exactly a bath, I received an ingenious answer - it is beautiful, just right for my interior. Oh yes, it's ours! It is difficult to argue with the fact that the bottle will serve as an excellent decoration for this very shelf and the room as a whole.
But in fact, the change in temperature and high humidity in the bathroom has a detrimental effect on the components of the scent. I don't want to spoil the beauty of a perfume for the sake of a beautiful shelf. Therefore, no, girls, the bathroom is not suitable for us for these purposes. We remove!
Window sill
For all of us, the window sill performs its function. Someone has beautiful violets or geraniums there (in my case, only cacti survive). Someone equipped their windowsill as a place to relax, adding a soft mattress and beautiful pillows. I like this solution, it is not for my 18th floor, perhaps. Many people keep books, cosmetics and perfumes on the windowsill. All this can be beautifully laid out and aesthetically everything will look perfect. But!
Direct sunlight is contraindicated for perfume compositions, even if they have a dark bottle. Even if stored in its original packaging - after all, there is heating from the sun, is it worth explaining how undesirable it is? Therefore, the happiness of soaking up and sunbathing leave yourself. And for your perfume it will be more useful to get away from the sun. Below I will tell you where.
Place near a bright light source
Not only the sun's rays are destructive, but also artificial bright lighting, be it a lamp or some kind of decor item. Like the sun, bright artificial light can affect the chemical state, it will change, and with it the quality. Of course, many bottles look cool when something nearby lights them up, but let the perfume fulfill its function to delight us with a pleasant aroma. And with the interior we can come up with something different.
Fridge
Tell me, are you surprised to see a refrigerator on the list? The first time I was at a loss, why someone keeps perfume in it? It is still necessary to come up with this, and most importantly, what goals are pursued? I understand that when hydrogel patches or masks are thrown into the refrigerator, the fight against morning edema does not push us to such an extent. It is logical here, at least. The main thing is that the hungry husband does not sleep from sleep to sandwiches with patches, instead of the doctor's. Dad can.
The temperature regime of the refrigerator is not suitable for storing perfume, it is cold there. We remove.
Drawer
What's wrong with the box? The humidity is not increased, there is no sun and no lamps, the sausage is not nearby. But in perfumery courses we were taught that perfume does not like constant shaking. For this reason, it is not advised to carry the entire bottle with you in your purse. It is best to use an automizer if you want to renew the fragrance throughout the day.
Where is the right place to store perfume at home? A dark place with a stable temperature of 10-25 degrees is ideal, for example, a closed shelf in a closet or other place. It can be open, but do not let the sun's rays or bright light reach it. Sometimes I meet advice to keep the bottles in the boxes in which they were sold, but if there is no bright light, I see no point in them. I don't want to hide the beauty of bottles in boxes, I want aesthetics. Without compromising quality.
