How many fragrances are in your perfume collection? And does it even exist, this collection? Opinions on how many bottles of perfume a woman should have differ from women themselves. There are deep conservatives who buy their favorite scent from year to year and do not even think about changing it. What for? There are women who want to be recognized by their scent, making it their signature. Someone cannot imagine life without the coveted bottles, buying them in packs.
In one of my articles about perfume, a dispute broke out about how many fragrances should have real women. I am always touched by such definitions and finding out what she is real woman. Can she get by with one scent, or just doesn't have the right to have less than five? Let's be determined!
To begin with, a real woman is not must love perfumery. There are people who are irritated by smells, there are people who are absolutely indifferent to them. You should not force them to buy perfume. This is their right, their choice and their life.
Let's not drive ourselves into a framework called "a woman must have ...". Each of us in life has enough of our own responsibilities, we will not create a problem from scratch, then throw our efforts at solving it or lament that we cannot solve it. I propose to replace "must have" with "desirable to have" and talk about such a concept as a perfume wardrobe.
How many scents is desirable for a woman
If you look at the opinions of experts in this area, you can find different numbers: from two to infinity. Usually, aromastilists recommend at least 2 fragrances - one everyday, one festive. I consider this approach quite reasonable, since in the morning to strangle colleagues in the office with the Beautiful Life from Lankom (La Vie Est Belle by Lancome) is a crime, and having dressed up we want to complete the image with something more festive and uplifting mood.
One can come across the opinion that every area of life needs its own aroma - for work, walks, dates, there is also a reasonable grain here, if not driven to fanaticism.
In my opinion, it is important to divide fragrances into daytime and evening, as well as by seasons. Of course, there are aromas that are always appropriate - citrus, light floral (without an admixture of the east), fresh, not very intense woody. But the autumn-winter aromas in summer will stifle both you and those around you: they are sweet oriental, rich floral, spicy. And some in the heat can be used as weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, we remember - in summer, light, unobtrusive, in winter - it can be heavier and sweeter. In the morning - light, unobtrusive, in the evening - more intense.
Of course, if you only love compote water, you don't have to buy heavy evening scents just because you have them. But if you have both light and rich, use them within the appropriateness we just talked about.
How many scents should a woman have? As much as the soul asks for and the wallet allows. There are women who have 30 or more fragrances in their collections, and they are not going to stop. I myself love perfume and start not only from the relevance and seasonality (this is my default), but also from the mood, today I am politically correct and strict, tomorrow - a crazy empress. And my aromas always complement not only the image, but also the mood.
