I rarely do an article with one single scent, but it is simply a sin to be silent about such a handsome man! I want to show that interesting niche fragrances are not always expensive, there are pleasant exceptions, such as Molinard Figue.

Interestingly, I have never met this French perfume house before. Molinard, although it was founded back in the 19th century, namely in 1849. Last year it celebrated its 170th anniversary, which is a very significant period for a perfume house, it can be safely called one of the oldest houses.
Perfumer Mathieu Nardin, who created Molinard Figue Eau de Parfum, was not familiar to me either, moreover, his fragrances for me still remain a mystery and a big gap, since I don't even talk about them heard. Sorry, Matthew, I'm ready to improve!

Top notes: Lemon, Blackcurrant, Fig
Heart notes: Fig leaves, Jasmine Sambac, Floral transparent accord
Base notes: Woody amber accord, Cedar, Musk
The other day I attended an interesting webinar about the perfume industry, where we were told about trends 2020. And one of the trends is figs! Especially when combined with black currant.
The fragrance starts confidently, taking us to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, where fat juicy figs grow, which are difficult to resist. Fruit and milk juice sprinkles from their pulp.
The lemon in this scent is neat, intertwined with green notes and almost elusive. I don't feel the berries of black currant, but the leaf of a currant bush, rubbed in my hands - definitely! There is a small drop of astringency, but not coarse and courageous, but flirting. Sometimes dill notes are heard, I have this with aromas with currant leaves.
Fig leaves make the aroma green, greens without a chemical aftertaste, very natural and tonic. Invigorates and gives shelter from the scorching sun. It is interesting, but I do not feel the floral notes at all, perhaps they give a special flavor, mixing together with fresh herbs and incredible figs, but no matter how much I listened, I can't identify them can. Was there a boy?
My cold skin has a woody base, not even a hint of musk, but if you have hot skin, you may feel it. But I don’t think it will stick out, I always feel clearly musky aromas on me.
I want to call Molinard figue sweet and salty, pleasantly natural. It seems that if you put the cap of the bottle to your ear, you can hear such a welcome sound of sea waves. The scent is ideal for absolutely any age, this is a big plus.
Persistence at Molinard figue excellent, lasts for several hours in a pleasant heart tone, I am very sensitive to aromas, I like to put my Figs on the back of my neck and go into the cloud. Despite the green summer motifs, it went well with me in winter, and in spring and summer it will be perfect in general.
