46-year-old Lyudmila, who has lived in France for a long time, had a typical image of a modest "gray mouse". She wore indistinct natural hair color, which was pulled into a messy bun at the back, denied all kinds of makeup and was complexed due to wrinkles. The only thing that was really stylish about her look was the big butterfly shaped glasses. Style - nature in all its glory!
Her beloved man, remembered her as an even brighter woman, from whom not a trace remained with age. Lyudmila's wardrobe consists of clothes in basic colors (black and gray), a lot of knitwear, a spacious cut and a sporty style.
Lyudmila came to the "Fashionable Verdict" to make her brighter and more attractive in general and, of course, for a loved one who complained about her facelessness. It was the man who selected the outfits from "his own choice", trying to guess the size, which did not always work out.
Your own choice
1. Home plush jumpsuit
The heroine's first exit looked like an unfunny joke. The 46-year-old woman wore a plush unicorn jumpsuit, which is usually worn at home as pajamas. As her man said, it was a compromise between softness and comfort, which Lyudmila loves, and brightness, which he strives for.
2. White blouse and black mini skirt
The second outfit made Lyudmila an overgrown schoolgirl. The shoes were desperately large for her, and the skirt was also incredibly short, although she had an asymmetrical wrap cut, and in general it would be permissible with the heroine's long and slender legs.
A white blouse made of translucent material, thanks to a black tie, looked rather gloomy, so calling the outfit basic, even due to the classic combination of black and white, is problematic.
3. Short red dress
For some, a red dress becomes a real challenge, and for others a holiday that is allowed almost every day. The dress has a rather deep V-neck with jewelry decoration, and in it the heroine felt extremely uncomfortable due to its size (a little tight and short) and flashy color. And she took off the silver shoes with a beautiful metallic shine, since they were too small.
The choice of stylists
1. Khaki Floral Blazer Dress
In the first set, stylists demonstrated the style-forming power of a contrasting combination, in which two main elements complement each other. The deep red floral dress echoes the bag and is toned down by a minimalist, elongated blazer in a beautiful understated khaki shade. A blazer with gold buttons, in turn, is a perfect match with milky beige suede ankle boots with a low, stable heel.
2. Light Blue Coat with Green Print Pants
The second choice of stylists puts the dazzling blue shade of the coat at the center of our attention, from which it is impossible to take our eyes off. It is complemented by a long scarf, slung over the shoulder and fastened at the waist with a strap, which, in turn, is combined with narrow cropped trousers with an arrow. As accessories - a small beige bag of a rigid shape and pointed pumps with stiletto heels.
3. Rigid fit wrap dress
The last outfit is evening or weekend. The stylists picked up a wrap dress for Lyudmila, made of dense fabric of architectural cut and with a black and white print with an optical illusion effect. The main accent of the dress is wide short wing-sleeves, the shape of which echoes a rigid handbag. The shoes were not classic shoes, but stiletto heels with thin leather straps in the Roman style.
Editor's opinion:
It is quite obvious that the man of the heroine would like to see her not so much bright as spicy, hence a red dress "in the forehead", and a mini-skirt, which, to put it mildly, is too late for a 46-year-old woman to wear even with such feet.
Stylists in their chosen outfits demonstrated that you don't have to open your legs and wear something tight to create a fashionable and memorable look. The first two exits are an amazing combination of prints with monotony, as well as a rich color that makes the coat self-sufficient.
The latter choice is too complex for the heroine, who is used to comfortable simplicity and softness in her clothes. The dress itself is very beautiful, but on Lyudmila it looks too aggressive. Another moment that catches your eye: in outfits from stylists, the heroine seems to have found her real age, while in her natural form before the transformation and in her glasses she looked much younger.
