As you age, it is very important to monitor your blood vessels. The efficiency, well-being and health of the body as a whole depend on this. An unbalanced diet increases the level of bad cholesterol in the blood, which leads to the formation of atheromatous plaques in the vessels (and as we know, this factor increases the risk of formation blood clots).

I will share a recipe for a drink that can be prepared at home in the kitchen. It will help to reduce blood viscosity and significantly strengthen the cardiovascular system.

What products do we need?

Many foods are considered good for blood vessels. But today we are using exceptional ingredients, and their combination will only enhance the healing effect. And so let's get started ...

The first product we will use is lemon. It is very beneficial for the myocardium and capillaries. And also due to the large number vitamin C - strengthens the immune system and has a positive effect on the condition of the skin.

Ingredients for the drink

The second product in the drink recipe is beets. The vegetable contains such a substance as - betaine. It is able to normalize blood pressure and improve liver function.

In order for the drink to have a more pleasant taste, we need an apple. It reduces the content excess cholesterol in the blood and is an excellent tool in the prevention of atherosclerosis.

Ingredients:
beets - 200 - 300 gr;
lemon - 1 pc;
apple - 2 pcs;
water - 0.7 -0.9 liters.

Drink recipe:

Step 1. We wash apples and beets with running water. Cut the apples into slices, take out the core with seeds and grind in a blender. Strain the homogeneous mass through a sieve, separating the juice.

Step 2. Cut the beets (grated) into small pieces, squeeze the juice into a separate container. Squeeze lemon juice there and mix with apple juice.

Step 3. Next, put the squeezed pieces of beet into a saucepan and add 0.8 liters of clean water. We put on the stove on low heat and bring the liquid to a boil.

Step 4. After, let the broth cool down a little, filter through a sieve and add the previously squeezed juices to it. A valuable drink for strengthening blood vessels is ready. You can enjoy its specific taste right away or pour it into a jug and put it in the refrigerator until better times.

Important: the drink has high acidity and is not recommended for people: with ulcers, gastritis, blood clotting problems. Consult a specialist before use.
