Then he may have increased pressure in the portal vein system, which carries blood from the intestine to the liver. We have already discussed this with you. In such cases, the veins of the esophagus often dilate. They can tear and bleed very powerfully.

Normally, the esophagus lies above the diaphragm, and the stomach below. Sometimes the stomach revolts and climbs up through the diaphragm. During vomiting, this is aggravated, and bleeding begins.
Age
Generally, the older the person is, the more likely it is that vomiting will damage the stomach. But it is not exactly. It happens to young people too. Something similar was noticed even in newborns from three weeks of age.
How does it happen
During vomiting, either red blood or a type of coffee grounds is released. There may be pain in the upper abdomen or back. If you notice something similar, then you need to call an ambulance. There they will prompt.
