This situation is called asymptomatic bacteriuria. That is, there are bacteria in the urine, but no complaints.
This is important for pregnant women or for those who have the urinary tract gouged out with urological instruments. The rest do not have to worry.
That is, usually, if you do not have to often run to the toilet, your sides, back or lower abdomen do not hurt, then there is probably nothing wrong with it.
Do not confuse with leukocytes
Many are accustomed to the fact that they have bacteria and leukocytes in their urine. In fact, even if a person has a sea of white blood cells in the urine, the bacteria will be there only in half the cases. Do not mix these two features.
Who has and how many bacteria in urine
It depends on gender and age.
Women
In schoolgirls, asymptomatic bacteriuria occurs in one percent of cases, and in grandmothers over 80 years old - in about 20%.
In general, in young and healthy women, bacteria in the urine settle temporarily. Usually no longer than a few weeks.
Men
In young people, it almost never happens, and in grandfathers it occurs somewhere in 10% of cases.
Microbe
There are bacteria that have enough vitality to climb into the bladder and multiply there, but there are no those villiwith which they could cling to the wall of the bladder.
Bubble microbiome
This is more interesting. We have already discussed microbes that live deep in the lungs. Previously, they knew nothing about it, but now they have found it.
It is now believed that the bladder also has its own microbiome. Maybe it is these microbes that the analyzes find. True, this is only pondered. It is not yet clear how the matter will end.
