In the story about heart failure, we agreed that the heart needs to be trained. And one of the training options is strength exercises. They are not only good for the heart, but they also increase overall performance. Sometimes a person cannot serve himself, not because his heart refuses, but because he has no muscles.
Strength training for people with heart failure must be approved by a cardiologist.
Usually they train at least two days a week. But you can't train for two days in a row.
If dumbbells are used, then almost always take a weight of 0.5 - 1 kilogram to begin with.
It is very important to avoid jerking sweeping movements. Elderly and sick people love this business very much.
Jerks and swings
It may seem strange, but it is the weak and aged people who swing their arms strongly. This is because they are very good at using momentum. They give a push, and then the arm, leg, or the whole body is wrapped in a jerk with a large amplitude. You can't do that.
Take a microscopic weight like a small dumbbell or water bottle and do the exercises slowly without jerking. Try not to straighten your joints. It is better to under-bend them slightly.
The weight of the weights should be such that 12-15 repetitions can be done.
You must exhale during exercise and inhale during the break between exercises.
If you exhale during exercise, then there will be no harmful straining, which dramatically increases the load on the heart.
See examples of hand exercises in the pictures. They are most useful.
