Hello! I have been a doctor for 21 years. My name is Georgy Olegovich Sapego. In this article, I will collect some of the questions that are repeated over and over again. It seems that they are still relevant today.
Question: Can broth be regularly eaten with a healthy stomach, or can it only be a rare delicacy?
Answer: With a healthy stomach, there is no harm in broth. But if there is some kind of acid-dependent disease, then the broth will turn into a stimulant, and it can be worse from it. Soup is therefore called the first course. They ate the soup, and from this gastric juice was released for the next dishes. Sometimes the extra juice isn't good for you.
Question: Man is not a robot. He cannot control himself and will get drunk sooner or later.
Answer: A healthy person has intuitive nutrition. He eats when he wants and doesn't eat when he doesn't. Intuitive eating is well developed in children. Therefore, it is considered bad form to force children to eat. On the other hand, many people have long been hammered into their heads by bad eating habits - to eat up everything that is on the table, add dessert, and so on. And there are also diseases that make you overeat. But this is not the norm.
Question: Can there be different types of bamboo sock fabric with different absorbency and absorbency differently?
Answer: It’s more likely not different cotton or different bamboo, but fundamentally different materials and misconceptions. Cotton is ventilated only as the top or single layer. Cotton socks will quickly get wet and stink. But if you change them every hour, they will act like a feminine sanitary napkin. Therefore, cotton panties are made. They don't have to breathe, they have to absorb. But no one in their right mind claims that panties made from natural materials smell good by the end of the day.
Question: Which sunscreen should you buy? Which has SPF 30 or SPF 50?
Answer: The difference between them is not fundamental. It is much more important to follow the regimen, stay out of the sun from 10 am to 4 pm and regularly renew the sunscreen on the skin. There is also UV protection clothing, rules of conduct near the water and much more. The SPF index alone will not save you.
Question: Why does the doctor prescribe pacifiers?
Answer: Because most people want a prescription from a doctor. In fact, many health problems go away without treatment. But people don't understand this. In such a situation, a fantastic endurance is required from the doctor in order to wait and observe. It is much easier to follow the patient's lead and prescribe a pacifier medicine. This is what the production of dietary supplements is based on. The supplements create a healing sensation. Self-limiting illnesses are not only the common cold, but also such sore things as plantar fasciitis, which is called a heel spur, or epicondylitis in the elbow area. Both sores usually go away on their own in one to two years. They, of course, severely restrict a person, but even the correct treatment sometimes takes almost the same amount of time.
Question: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs do not help in topical ointments and gels.
Answer: On the contrary. They are quite helping themselves. Where there is not a very thick layer between the skin and the sore spot, topical anti-inflammatory drugs are effective. This is especially noticeable with sore knees and tendons. Recently, a popular Internet doctor tried to argue with me on this topic. He dodged until the last second, but never admitted his mistake. I even tried to spit on a modern textbook. Hysterical nihilism is widespread among fashionable doctors. As in the poem by S. Marshak, in which the fool denies everything and thus tries to increase his worth.
Have you met fashionable doctors who deny everything right and left?
