Paradox: if you dress up in trends from head to toe does not mean that it will be super stylish. The border between fashion and bad taste is sometimes evened out by just one thing, improperly selected or stylized.

Victorian collars
On the catwalks, collars with frills, frills and embroidery look very impressive and attract the attention of the audience. But let's not forget that fashion shows are, first of all, a bright show.
I can't imagine how in real life elements of Victorian clothing can be integrated into a casual look without hitting on style. High collars with layered trim add age and may not look vintage, but old-fashioned, so you need to wear them wisely, adding accessories.
For example, if you remove glasses in the presented image, it will no longer be so stylish. We can say that here they are of decisive importance. The new season will change the Victorian era with its graceful frills, collars and cuffs with "wings" came a more restrained style (not to be confused with conservative) with laconic styles and minimalistic details.
But this does not mean that fans of a refined and elegant style will have nothing to wear: blouses made of organza and light fabrics, decorated with a spectacular bow, are in fashion.
Dress
The "young lady-peasant" style in a calm beige design will forgive, especially girls of Slavic appearance. This is a good example when the figure behind the dress is not visible. If your goal is not to disguise and merge with the scenery of a dusty city, choose a dress that is not so "wide-shouldered", with more graceful sleeves and shorter, fuchsia or mandarin. Then you will be visible!

Draped skirt
I immediately recall the style of Paris Hilton and the era of the desperate 90s, which is called the most tasteless.
An asymmetric draped skirt is a complex and accent piece. Personally, I associate it with a curtain. One could come to terms with her difficult "character" if she sat perfectly on the figure. But this is not so: the “sliding” style makes the whole image untidy and ill-conceived, and the folds, under which it was planned to hide the excess, on the contrary, give the hips additional volume.
Designers now actively use drapery on skirts and mini-dresses, but they go exclusively to the owners of model parameters, who have nothing to hide under the folds.
Floral print
In dresses with small flowers, I look like a villager! And not at all in the best traditions of Provence. Flowers will forgive the image, and the more realistic the print, the more noticeable it is. Therefore, fancy tropical colors are always more advantageous than gardening ones.
However, flowers are back in vogue. But if you combine field motifs, flounces and a smell in one dress - the effect will be the opposite of the desired one, such a "hodgepodge" will decorate few people. The more active the pattern, the simpler and clearer the cut should be.
If you want to update your wardrobe, remember about individuality. Trendy things - not at all a guarantee of fashionable images. Combine basic styles with bold, bold options.
