The appointment to the salon due to objective reasons was stuck in uncertainty, and the problem of regrown roots comes to the fore and becomes obvious... To keep your hair well-groomed, you don't have to use heavy artillery and run to a nearby shop for paint. There are a few simple 5-minute ways to mask overgrown roots without harming your hair.
New parting
A perfectly straight parting will only emphasize the transition between hair shades. I advise you to split the strands in a new way, for example, in a zigzag or lay them on the other side. Do not be afraid of uneven lines: slight negligence and naturalness will divert suspicions from regrown roots.
Volume bezel
The easiest and fastest way to hide overgrown roots is under a voluminous rim. The hair will look pulled together and no one will know their little secret. Moreover, accessories in the style of the incomparable Brigitte Bardot are back in trend!
Bundle or knot
These are more effective options for a homemade "bun" with "roosters". You can let loose strands around your face (ideally if you have an elongated bang), and wrap the rest of the hair in a bun or knot and secure. Such a hairstyle will look neat and stylish, and will also distract attention from regrown roots.
Also, a bun can be made on loose hair: you need to divide the strands into two parts, lift them from above and tie them into a light knot, and dissolve the rest of the hair length over the shoulders.
The intricacies
If you braid your hair in a "spikelet" or French braids, then different shades in the weaves will look very beautiful, giving the impression of strands burnt out in the sun.
Light negligence versus perfect smoothness
It is important to avoid mirror-smooth hair and perfect ponytails. Natural volume, light waves or slightly tousled hair will visually make the transition from one color to another less contrasting.
Perhaps the most correct solution for the period of camouflage is styling that looks as if they did not even try to do it. To give your haircut a casual look, you only need a few minutes: you need to wind the hair with a straightener, turning each section half a turn away from the face. Then lightly ruffle the curls with your hands and fix the result with texturizing spray. And on long hair, beach waves look good, by the way, obtained naturally from the aforementioned braids.
Powder or dry shampoo?
Or maybe both - for the sake of experimentation? (Far from "civilization", they say, all means are good).
Mineral powder will help to briefly mask overgrown roots: you need to apply it to dry hair, and then comb the strands several times. The powder is absolutely safe to use.
Another good option is dry shampoo. It will refresh your hair and give it natural volume in a matter of seconds. When the roots are raised, 1-2 cm of regrown hair will not be visible.
I will be glad if my life hacks and little tricks will help you smooth out contrasts and pass the time usefully while waiting for a meeting with a hairdresser.
