Why is it important to eat hot food and usually start with soups?
Because hot soup helps to produce cholecystokinin, and this is one of the main satiety hormones.
This means that a person can be satisfied with less food and not overeat.
Of course, we are talking about soups that are not very fatty, without a lot of potatoes, noodles, and so on.
The only kind of soups I don't really approve of is puree soups. All the same, you need to give a load to your teeth, and not eat rubbed food. And they also need to be chewed, so saturation will come even faster.
Another property: mashed soups are absorbed faster, with less energy losses. That is, more energy is being stored than we would like.
If you have made a puree soup, then during meals add vegetable fiber there (at least do not spare the greens!) And chew thoroughly.
