A girl can already be born with an inherent pathology, or she can acquire with a banal set of adipose tissue

About 5 to 10 percent of women of reproductive age have polycystic ovary disease. This is a very unpleasant disease, as a result of which some of the most important organs of the female body lose their functions and turn into tissue with cavities filled with fluid.

A girl can already be born with an underlying pathology, or she can acquire it with a banal set of adipose tissue. Now it is becoming an epidemic.

The connection is this:

1. Excess adipose tissue, especially internal fat, leads to inflammation.

2. This in turn leads to insulin resistance. If primitive, body tissues do not respond to insulin. Hence, glucose cannot enter the cell, the hunger center is constantly active, the person wants to eat all the time.

3. Insulin resistance leads to an increase in the number of receptors of the hormone FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone).

4. This ultimately leads to an increase in the synthesis of the hormone FSH itself, which stimulates the growth of follicles.

5. It is so arranged in the body that there should not be many follicles at the same time. They affect the increased synthesis of testosterone and dihydrosterone. These are hormones that ordinary people call "male" (this is not true, but let's call them that too for simplicity)

6. These hormones not only lead to excess hair growth on the woman's body, but also make the follicle shell very strong, due to which mature eggs will not be able to break through and enter the fallopian tubes (this should be normal).

As a result, the follicle becomes a cyst.. A very unpleasant disease, which in some cases is treatable.

Of course, there are other reasons for the development of polycystic disease, and after overweight are thyroid pathologies and an excess of the hormone prolactin. But the increase in the growth of morbidity I now associate precisely with an epidemic of obesity, even in young womenn.

So the answer to the question - what to do if you have polycystic disease and you still can't get to the doctor?

Pay attention, maybe you have excess adipose tissue?

Then you need to lose weight, gain muscle (exercise), and part of the problem will be solved.

In total, we return to my favorite topic: in quarantine, I ask you not to relax, watch your figure, and, if necessary, also lose weight.
