Yesterday at work I was "stunned" by the sad news.
An order came that all employees of our organization must be vaccinated against influenza without fail.
At first I thought that this was another order and, as always, I could write a refusal and that's it. But when the question was asked to the head that I, they say, want to write a refusal, where to carry it, as usual? I was told to read two points specified in the order.
After reading it, I felt sick.
There was a feeling that I was equated with an animal, without the right to vote and the ability to defend the right to interfere with my personal space. The feeling that some kind of worldwide experiment is underway and you are not given the right to choose - to take part in it or refuse.
It's absolutely disgusting, scary and humiliating.
Someone will say that come on, you can always refuse, this cannot be, this is contrary to the law and freedom of speech! But no, they did everything in such a way that you won't dig, and if you dig, you will bury yourself... well, or whoever you ...
The fact is that if you write a refusal to vaccinate, then you have the right to be suspended from work during a pandemic, well, or transferred to remote work, if your work suggests the opportunity to work from home (no one knows how long it will last, and at the end of it, you are likely to be fired or laid off or transferred to another position).
Refusal to vaccinate can be anything (medical withdrawal for medical reasons, health hazard or others), but this does not affect the fact that you will be suspended. Of course, each case is considered individually, but the fact remains.
You may also be subject to disciplinary action.
That is, in addition to being suspended from work, you will also pay a fine for refusing to be vaccinated. Again, everything is individual. But, this is a law, this is an order issued by our General Director on the basis of an order issued by the Chief Physician of our central hospital.
I will make a reservation that while this order applies to medical workers, service workers and those who work in educational organizations.
That is, vaccinations are obliged to make that category of citizens who are in contact with a large number of people and, accordingly, the danger that they will infect someone is high.
But, as far as I remember, we now have a coronavirus pandemic, not flu. So what does the flu have to do with it? And why are people put in conditions where you cannot refuse to inject an unfamiliar drug into your body, which does not guarantee that you will not get the flu and after six months it needs to be done again, since this disease mutates! And complications are possible.
Only here the employer does not take responsibility for the consequences of vaccination... this is such a vicious circle.
