Products to help cope with heartburn

Heartburn is a rather unpleasant phenomenon, and I have been looking for effective methods for an unpleasant burning sensation in the mouth for a very long time. I myself suffered from heartburn only during pregnancy, but my husband constantly swallowed pills to suppress the fire in my chest.

Fried, spicy and fatty foods often cause heartburn, but not everyone is able to completely abandon them.
Therefore, I began an active search for effective methods that would help him cope with heartburn, without pills.

What helps us:

Nuts

Strange as it may seem, but a couple of grains of peanuts or walnuts relieves an attack of heartburn.

Potatoes

Potato juice suppresses an attack of heartburn well, but if you are too lazy to make juice, you can just gnaw a small piece of potatoes.

Mineral water

This method worked best for us. We noticed that after taking just a couple of sips of mineral water (we buy Essentuki 4), heartburn instantly disappears.

Flax seed

I always have flax seeds in my house. I pour 3 tsp the seed with a glass of boiling water and insist overnight. I drink during the day to heal the body. When my husband starts having heartburn, I give him my infusion. A couple of sips and the heartburn goes away.

All these methods well suppress heartburn attacks, but it is important to exclude the source of its occurrence. Eat more raw vegetables and fruits and eliminate "unhealthy" foods from your diet and then you won't have to fight heartburn.
