Defne and Kahraman, desperate to have their own children, decide to use surrogacy services.
In this matter, they are helped by Kiymet-khanum, who finds a good clinic in Cyprus and a girl who agrees to carry a child for the couple.
Only problems arose in the clinics: Defne's eggs could not be fertilized, and Kahraman's mother independently decides that this child will be her son and Elif. And young people do not need to know about it.
For some time, Defne is sure that it is she who is the mother of the child that Elif is carrying, but soon everything secret becomes clear.
Initially, the doctor's conclusion falls into the hands of Defne, but Kiimetkhanim snatches it out of his daughter-in-law's hands in time and burns it in the fireplace.
At this moment, a spark of doubt lit up in Defne: what is her mother-in-law hiding from her?
Defne later suspects that she is pregnant and the test confirms her suspicions. But after being examined by a doctor, Defne learns that he will never and in no way be able to become a mother.
Here Defne understands that either the doctor was mistaken or her mother-in-law deceived her. Remembering the conclusion that Kiimet-khanum burned in front of her eyes, she tends to the second assumption, but the mother-in-law does not admit it.
To understand this issue to the end and find out the whole truth, Defne tells Kahraman that he is leaving on a business trip, and she herself goes to a clinic in Cyprus, where she will find out the whole truth.
The truth is harsh: Defne cannot have children, and the child Elif carries is the child of Elif and Kahraman.
