Gulfem Khatun lived in the palace of Sultan Suleiman for 50 years. For half a century, Gulfem had seen a lot in the palace, but she herself led a quiet and immeasurable life.
Once Gulfem was Suleiman's favorite favorite and even bore him a son, whom she lost at the age of three due to smallpox. Gulfem grumbled to all the blows of fate, and did not fight for the heart of the sovereign.
Khatun was content with what Allah had prepared for her. She did not intrigue anyone, did not participate in intrigues, and if she found out about such, then she simply kept silent.
Having no children of her own, Gulfem gave all her love to other people's children. And most of all she loved Mustafa, Jihangir and Bayazid.
The execution of Mustafa for Gulfem was a heavy blow, and probably for the first time a woman allowed Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska to express what she thinks about her. But Gulfem survived this loss.

After the death of Khyurrem Sultan, Gulfem began to visit the ruler's chambers again and at about this time she began to build a mosque in her honor. The construction required more funds than Khatun expected. And, in order to finish building his mosque, Gulfem sells the night with the lord of another favorite. Suleiman, upon learning of this, became angry and ordered the execution of Gulfem.
It's hard to believe in this version. First of all, Suleiman grieved for his beloved Hurrem until his last days. Secondly, as we were shown in the series, Suleiman suffered from severe pain in his legs, the last years of his life, the disease progressed. And with such pains, it is doubtful that the sovereign wanted to see concubines in his chambers. And Gulfem herself is no longer young ...
