Khyurrem Sultan was able to live an incredibly interesting and at the same time dangerous life.
Many people admire this historical character, but there are also those who condemn her for her cruelty and deceit. But, nevertheless, the name of this woman has been heard on many lips for more than 5 centuries.
Khyurrem Sultan got into the palace as an ordinary slave, and dreamed of burning this palace to the ground. But, once in the chambers of the ruler himself, the concubine fell in love. So much so that she herself became that fire, and except for her sultan she was not interested in anything.
Love and devotion to the sovereign, as well as a cunning mind and keen intuition, allowed an ordinary slave to go the hard way to the great sultana of the Ottoman Empire.
But, unfortunately, Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska left this world very early, leaving the ruler of her heart, alone in sorrow.
Having learned about her illness, Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska did not hope for a miracle. She knew it was time to pay the price for her sins. The last days of her life, Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska gave instructions to each of her devoted servants:
Fakhriye Khatun had to get rid of Nurbanu. Syumbul-aga to bury the mistress with the ring that Suleiman once gave her, to Rustem - to protect her sons from each other and the wrath of the sovereign.
The ruler Khyurrem Sultan also asked to fulfill her last will. And her request was predictable - Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska asked Suleiman to bury her in “his heart”. So he called the mosque in Istanbul built by his order - the Suleymaniye Mosque.
Sultan Suleiman fulfilled the will of his beloved wife and placed her tomb “in his heart” - the largest mosque in Istanbul Suleymaniye.
The request of Khyurrem Sultan once again proves loyalty and love for his master. Watching the series, I expected that Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska would ask Suleiman not to execute his sons, because the fortune-teller predicted the death of one of the shehzade.
But Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska did not dare to ask the sovereign about this, but asked to be with him, even after her departure.
