For Rustem - Pasha, marriage with Nigar - Khatun was undesirable. Firstly, he did not feel warm feelings for the Khatuns, and secondly, she loved his enemy, Ibrahim - Pasha and served Khatija - the Sultan.
Therefore, when Rustem received a letter from Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska, in which she informed about the appearing nicknames of him and Mihrimah, he said with relief and special delight to Nigar:
- I'm getting divorced, getting divorced, getting divorced!
Nigar never loved Rustem, but she did not want to divorce him either. This marriage provided her with a roof over her head and, being the wife of a pasha, she was entered into the palace, which gave her a greater opportunity to weave intrigues on the orders of the Shah - Sultan and Khatije - Sultan against Khyurrem.
After the divorce, Nigar learned from Matrakchi that he had sent baby Kader-Esmanur to Ibrahim's homeland. Nigar went in search of her daughter, but two years of searching did not bear fruit, and the woman decided to return to Istanbul.
Matrakchi met Nigar at the grave of Ibrahim, took pity on her, gave some gold and found a place to sleep for her.
However, Nigar did not return to live her life calmly, she wanted the death of Khyurrem and Rustem - those whom she blamed for all her troubles.
To implement her plan, Nigar turned to the Shah Sultan for help.
Khatije - the sultan and Shah - sultan led Nigar to the Mihrimah palace, who at that time had a daughter.
Nigar was supposed to deal with Rustem and Khyurrem at night, but when the khatun saw the little daughter of Mihrimah and Rustem, she lost her mind, seeing her Esmanur in the newborn.
Nigar stole the daughter of the Sultana from the palace and fled. Rustem, having learned about what had happened, raised all the servants and janissaries. Nigar could not go far, and Rustem with the soldiers overtook her near the abyss.
Nigar said that she was not afraid of death, because without her daughter her life had lost all meaning.
Matrakchi managed to persuade Nigar to return the girl to Rustem, after which Nigar rushes into the abyss.
During the seconds that Nigar flew into the abyss, she recalled the most important moments of her life - these are the love of Ibrahim and the days that she spent with her daughter.
